Job Summary

We are seeking an E-commerce Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer engagement metrics to identify trends and patterns.

The E-commerce Business Analyst will also conduct in-depth analysis to understand the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer engagement metrics to identify trends and patterns.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis to understand the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to e-commerce sales, such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
  4. Identify areas of underperformance and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective measures.
  5. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences in the e-commerce space.
  6. Provide insights on market opportunities and potential threats to inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Collaborate with Design & Merchandising teams for online assortment.
  8. Develop dashboards and reports to present findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management and retail customers.
  9. Utilize data visualization tools to create compelling visual representations of complex data sets.
  10. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and inventory management teams to forecast e-commerce sales and inventory needs internal & external (retail customers).
  11. Assist in developing annual and quarterly sales plans and budgets based on data-driven insights.
  12. Manage the company's e-commerce platform(s), ensuring user-friendly navigation, product visibility, and a smooth checkout process.
  13. Monitor website performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  14. Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and innovations in e-commerce analytics.
  15. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in e-commerce operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5+ years of experience in e-commerce or retail industry.

Proven experience as a business analyst, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.

Forecasting & inventory management experience required.

Proficient in tools such as Excel, Microsoft Office, Retail Link & Item 360. Luminate experience a Plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Background or experience in apparel preferred.
