Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and talented professional to serve as a Civil Engineering Team Leader in our growing Charleston, SC Office. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated outstanding proficiency in civil engineering design, project management, leadership amongst fellow co-workers, client contact skills, and a reputation throughout the land development industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Review of all Proposals/Contracts, monitoring and intervening as necessary in the managing of Clients expectations on project requirements, deliverables, agency regulations, scheduling and project deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: In conjunction with principals, responsible for team staffing needs, team organizational structure, work assignments, interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
  • Design: Full responsibility, accountability and engagement in the QA/QC reviews on all assigned civil design work and plan presentation across the team.
  • Field: Monitor and assist Project Managers in Construction Admin responsibilities of all assigned projects throughout the entire course of construction (Pre-con thru Closeout).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years' experience, previous Civil Engineering experience with a Civil Engineering design firm or construction related experience highly desirable.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) Certification highly recommended.
