Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Indian Health Service. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive oral health care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to identify oral health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive dentistry services, including oral prophylaxis, scaling, and fluoride treatments.
- Administer local anesthetics and perform extractions as needed.
- Develop and implement community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness and education.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Current licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in a State or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Minimum one year of specialized experience in dental hygiene, including experience in community health and public health programs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
