Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Windchill Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Windchill applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Specification Review: Thoroughly examine and interpret system specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding.
  • Domain Knowledge Acquisition: Gain in-depth knowledge of the domain and identify relevant business use cases.
  • Peer Review: Assess test cases developed by colleagues to uphold quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the team to formulate effective strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Automation: Transform manual test cases and requirements into automated test workflows to maximize test coverage.
  • Test Execution: Conduct test cases (both manual and automated) and evaluate the outcomes.
  • Issue Reporting: Document issues in JIRA and ensure they are resolved.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify the underlying causes of production issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Quality Decision Making: Make informed quality decisions to minimize incoming production defects.
Experience Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in PTC Windchill products.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
  • Skilled in Manual Testing (Smoke/Sanity/Regression).
  • Ability to write comprehensive test cases.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with Cloud JIRA.
