ASW Analyst/Trainer

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled ASW Analyst/Trainer to join our High Fidelity Simulation Business Area. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning, testing, and deploying advanced naval training systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in planning activities for high-fidelity, supercomputing-based acoustic trainer development and deployment
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in SQQ-89 (ACB13 or newer) Sonar system operations
- Conduct system testing and ensure trainer systems operate properly and meet requirements
- Install and turnover trainer systems to the US Navy
- Collaborate with internal developers, external tactical development team members, US Navy schoolhouse personnel, and military and civilian DoD customers
- Stability and growth opportunities within a long-running Leidos contract
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including early morning or late evening shifts
- Meaningful projects with systems going into production within six months
- Overtime compensation at straight time rates
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government granted security clearance
- Interim Secret security clearance required to begin employment
- 6+ years of experience obtained through prior related military experience
- Specific subject matter expertise in SQQ-89 (ACB13 or newer) Sonar system operations
- B.S./B.A. degree, continuing education in a technical domain
- Acoustic Intelligence experience
- Experience with Atlassian Products, MS Office products
