Position Summary

The Analyst in Global Accounting for AR/AP Contract Management will play a crucial role in overseeing the processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices. Key responsibilities include data management, record maintenance, monitoring financial transactions, assisting in month-end financial closings, and preparing audit reports and variance analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Management
    • Ensure accurate billing for all charges, including A/R, A/P, and additional fees.
    • Perform data entry for AR/AP into the operational system.
    • Resolve disputes regarding detention, demurrage, and chassis invoices with relevant parties.
    • Maintain comprehensive records related to AR/AP activities.
    • Oversee auditing and processing of travel and expense reimbursements.
  • Month-End Closing Participation
    • Prepare and review all data entries for month-end closing processes.
    • Compile month-end reports, including journal entries.
    • Conduct analysis of profit and loss statements and reconciliations.
  • Payment Oversight
    • Monitor payment aging for customers and vendors to ensure timely transactions.
    • Verify vendor statements for accuracy.
    • Coordinate with the accounting department for payment follow-ups.
  • Account Setup
    • Prepare documentation for new customer and vendor accounts.
    • Ensure proper setup in the system and follow up on account details.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide necessary reports and information to other departments.
    • Assist with special projects as required.
    • Support management and team members with various tasks.
Compensation
  • Annual salary range: $44,000 - $50,000
