About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Primerica. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading and working on large strategic projects with limited supervision. You will be responsible for eliciting business requirements with diverse stakeholders, driving business stakeholders towards strategic thinking, and advising on viable roadmaps and execution plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Autonomously elicit business requirements with stakeholders, business partners, and users across multiple locations and departments.
  • Drive business stakeholders towards strategic thinking and advise on viable roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Document complex business logic, rules, and requirements in a simple and intuitive format.
  • Analyze the current state of applications and create target state documentation, including wireframes, process models, and business rules.
  • Lead meetings with functional user areas to define business system requirements and resolve problems in existing areas.
  • Develop business cases, ROI, and participate in long-term firm benefits analysis.
  • Devise and recommend solutions and options for system design and enhancements.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to create and maintain product roadmaps, epics, features, user stories, use cases, and other product documentation.
  • Serve as a product subject matter expert or work alongside business subject matter experts for an integrated product team working in an agile Scrum process.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues, participate in change control and scope change process.
  • Lead root cause analysis, change control, scope management efforts, and test planning using proven testing techniques.
  • Manage project scope through the entire software development life cycle, including documentation of requirements, testing, and implementation.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, tailoring the message for the recipient.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience required.
  • Agile framework (Scrum) required.
  • Project Management experience preferred.
Preferred Skills, Training, and Certifications
  • BA certification (CCBA, CBAP, CSPO, PMPO).
  • Agile/Scrum (CSM).
  • SAFE Agilist a plus.
  • Pega Business Architect a plus.
  • Experience in Insurance or Financial services industry.
