CT Technologist

As a CT Technologist at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate technologist to join our team and help us inspire health, serve with compassion, and be the difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of CT procedures applying ionizing radiation under the direction of the manager and in-charge technologist.
- Identify patients and procedures, communicate with nursing and physician staff, and inform nursing of patients requiring IV sedation or biopsies.
- Position patients accurately for all CT procedures, ensuring optimal anatomy visibility.
- Operate the PACS system, verify studies before sending to archive, and report equipment problems to the supervisor and in-charge technologist.
- Communicate with radiologists to determine appropriate protocols for each exam and perform procedures as directed.
- Perform warm-up calibrations as needed and maintain competency for working in the CT department.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
- Registered in CT and CPR certified.
- Excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills, and knowledge of office equipment.
