Job Summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation, under the direction of the manager and in-charge technologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Performance: Performs CT scans as directed by the manager, communicates with physicians and other work-related personnel, and ensures that all team members are knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values.
  • Patient Care: Identifies patients and procedures, communicates with nursing and physicians, and positions patients accurately for all CT procedures.
  • Scanning Protocols: Knows scanning protocols in depth, performs procedures correctly using protocol books for reference, and ensures that studies are done in a timely manner.
  • Supply Management: Obtains appropriate supplies and prepares rooms for patients, keeps rooms cleaned and stocked at all times, and ensures that adequate supplies and linens are available.
  • Emergency Response: Responds to codes and other emergency situations appropriately.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT
  • CPR certified
  • SCQRSA License
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3D Imaging preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Data entry
