Job Summary

As a CT Technologist at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate technologist to join our team and help us inspire health, serve with compassion, and be the difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of CT procedures, applying ionizing radiation as directed by the Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Position patients accurately for CT procedures, ensuring optimal visibility and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine appropriate protocols for each exam and ensure correct scans are performed.
  • Maintain competency in CT procedures and protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining procedures to patients and families, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • Current CPR certification and SCQRSA license.
  • Excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills, and knowledge of office equipment.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
