Position Overview
The role of a Certified Automotive State Inspector is crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of our guests' vehicles. This position offers a comprehensive training program from day one, equipping you with the necessary skills to excel in your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks, including brakes, suspension, and tire installations.
- Engage with customers to secure approval for necessary repairs and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to junior technicians.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Basic set of automotive tools or participation in a tool purchase program.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Valid Automotive Technician State Inspector license, where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification in one or more areas (A1-A8).
- Completion of an automotive technical school program.
