About the Role

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective use and functionality of automated equipment within our Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems, motors, power supplies, and other equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity with warehouse operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintain the CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Requires some technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: Normally requires one to two years of related and progressively responsible experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems, as well as strong analytical skills and ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
