About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. This role will be responsible for providing strengths-based training and support to adults with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one skills sessions at home or in the community, utilizing evidence-based practices and curriculums.
  • Offer support and crisis/emergency services to clients and families through face-to-face contact, phone contact, or an on-call system.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation in electronic records and write progress notes adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Engage family members in the service process and provide emotional support and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with court/probation, tribal/community agencies, and other natural support systems to ensure clients' needs are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention.
  • At least 1 year of paid experience in a related field.
  • ANSA/CANSA Certification preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
