Overview of the Role: The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive patient care services to adult and pediatric patients. This includes evaluating, treating, and planning discharge for patients with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities using standardized assessments
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders
  3. Provide direct and indirect patient care in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and home health
  4. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, recommendations, and plan
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care services

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current MS SLP license and ASHA CCC or CFY certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Work Environment: This position requires working in a fast-paced healthcare setting with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
