Position Overview

The Field Service Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of robotic systems utilized in clinical and applied markets. This position is integral to the success of Clear Labs, a company dedicated to revolutionizing diagnostics through advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and addressing urgent repair needs for robotic systems.
  • Engaging with clients through various communication channels to foster trust and confidence in Clear Labs' capabilities.
  • Documenting service visits and maintaining comprehensive records of work performed.
  • Providing insights to internal teams to enhance system reliability and address potential issues.
  • Collaborating with the Client Care team to ensure maximum equipment uptime and responsiveness.
  • Assisting with logistics to guarantee timely shipping of products and finished goods, while offering feedback on inventory management.
  • Upholding a professional demeanor in all interactions with clients and vendors.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
  • A willingness to travel frequently, with potential travel commitments ranging from 25% to 75% monthly.
  • Flexibility in working hours, typically between 20-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Hands-on experience in field service, particularly within the biotech, life sciences, or robotics sectors.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, especially in electronics, electromechanical systems, and robotics.
  • Experience with Hamilton liquid handlers is highly desirable, with certification considered a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on managing customer expectations and delivering outstanding service.
  • The physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 80 lbs on occasion.
  • Authorization to work in the US without the need for immigration sponsorship.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation will be competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
