About the Role

Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment and technology. We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our agile based cloud product development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for automated continuous deployment of application code and the operational and security monitoring and care of the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of AWS resources
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of application code
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on AWS best practices and DevOps methodologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • 7 or more years of experience in DevOps process environment or Unix system administration
  • Experience with cloud providers, with AWS preferred
  • Proficient in scripting languages, ideally Python
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, ideally Docker
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification with Amazon Web Services strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of DevOps best practices and software application lifecycle/release processes
  • Experience with toolchains, including Jira, Bamboo, Git/Bitbucket, and Confluence
  • Strong experience with AWS technologies, including VPA, Cloud Formation, Route 53, IAM, EC2, S3, Dynamo DB, and Nginx
