Role Summary

As a Traveling Retail Food Service Manager, you will oversee the retail operations within our Food & Nutrition Services for healthcare facilities, assisting with new openings and covering staff shortages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate special events, ensuring adherence to cash management and payroll protocols.
  • Foster positive customer relations and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Lead staff in delivering retail services that align with corporate standards.
  • Train team members in customer service excellence, portion control, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and submit reports in accordance with corporate guidelines and timelines.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members, patients, and their families.
  • Implement cash handling procedures to safeguard company assets.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or a related field; or an Associate's degree with three years of relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail food service management.
  • Strong understanding of food service trends, quality control, and marketing.
  • Experience in financial management and contract services is a plus.
  • Proficient in cash operations and retail marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and accounting practices.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
