Automation & Controls Engineer

Mark Anthony Brewing is seeking a skilled Automation & Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and maintenance support for all automation and controls systems in our facility.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team in a state-of-the-art brewing facility in Glendale, AZ. You will work on a 2-2-3 schedule (6:00PM to 6:30AM) and be part of a collaborative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instrumentation and controls troubleshooting support for manufacturing operations team
  • Work with electronic control systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control elements used in automated processes
  • Test and maintain instrumentation and control systems, including test equipment
  • Consult manuals, read and interpret circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
  • Repair and adjust controls system components or remove and replace defective parts
  • Install control and measurement instruments on existing or new plant equipment
  • Provide training to maintenance technicians and operations team on equipment use and troubleshooting
  • Work on assigned continuous improvement projects assigned by CI leadership team
  • Foster collaborative and organizational learning
  • Provide process engineering support for manufacturing operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
  • 3 to 5 years applicable experience in industrial manufacturing (brewery experience a plus)
  • Certified Allen Bradley (Studio 5000, Factory Talk SE and ME, and AssetCentre)
  • Experience with high speed packaging equipment desired
  • Ability to work overnight 6:00pm to 6:30am
