Position Overview
This role is a critical component of the Air National Guard Units, focusing on the maintenance and operational readiness of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, execute, and document comprehensive maintenance, servicing, and inspections for multiple aircraft.
- Ensure that all aircraft documentation and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) accurately reflect the airworthiness status of the aircraft.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of aircraft and components undergoing repair, overhaul, or modification, certifying adherence to established work techniques.

Training and Development
- Plan and deliver training sessions during the technician work week for a diverse workforce, typically consisting of 3 to 8 assigned military personnel.

Readiness and Compliance
- Prepare for and engage in various readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization efforts, and Operations Other Than War (OOTW).
- Adhere to safety, fire, security, environmental, and housekeeping regulations while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Military Grades: E-3 through E-5
- General Experience: Candidates should possess experience or training that equips them with the skills to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components, making adjustments according to established specifications. Proficiency in the use of hand tools and testing equipment is essential.

Specialized Experience:
- In addition to journey-level experience, candidates may have responsibilities that include acting as a dedicated crew chief or overseeing periodic inspections on aircraft, either independently or in collaboration with other mechanics and workers.
