Speech-Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a compassionate professional with exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate will hold a current Alaska license/certification and have at least two years of recent experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Inpatient settings.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care to patients in Inpatient settings
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct assessments and create personalized treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements
  • Current Alaska license/certification
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Inpatient settings
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
  • 2 current Clinical References
  • Physical and TB Records
  • Current - Tdap/Flu vaccinations and Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella or vaccination records
  • Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening upon accepting an offer
