Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. You will assist in direct patient care and collaborate with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Speech Language Pathology services to meet the needs of patients and families
  • Collaborate with physicians, primary partners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Assist in direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and care coordination
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in Speech Language Pathology
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or D.O. in Speech Language Pathology
  • Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
