Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or D.O. in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
