Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Territory Manager to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Sales Territory Manager, you will be responsible for meeting with agents in your assigned territory to influence and advocate for increased utilization of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with agents in your assigned territory to discuss their business needs and identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase agent adoption of our products and services
- Manage the quality of the book of business and overcome objections to drive profitable growth within your territory
- Build strong relationships with agents and provide exceptional customer service
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure you are always ahead of the curve
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years outside business-to-business sales experience or territory management experience
- OR Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years outside business-to-business sales experience or territory management experience
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to travel to and meet with all agencies within your assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Outside business-to-business sales experience with a demonstrated ability to advocate, influence, and advance results and business outcomes
- Ability to manage work and weekly schedule independently and efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with a sales or customer relationship management tool (i.e., Salesforce)
Compensation and Benefits
- $91,000-$111,000/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
