Job Title: Associate Director, Recovery Support Services

Join our team as an Associate Director, Recovery Support Services, and play a key role in advancing behavioral health and wellness in Baltimore. As a leader in the field, you will oversee and address access to care, quality of care, and integration issues for Public Behavioral Health System (PBHS) recovery support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Leadership Development: Provide strengths-based personnel management, supervision, and support to staff within the Recovery Support Services (RSS) Division.
  • Contract and Programs Management: Independently manage a portfolio of approximately 70 contracts, develop and implement contracts management processes, and ensure compliance, high-quality service delivery, sound financial management, timely spending, and continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Accountability and Relationship Management: Serve as primary agency point of contact for assigned service lines, facilitate communication between community providers and other stakeholders, and maintain collaborative relationships with providers, funders, and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction: Collaboratively develop a vision and implement a plan for how Recovery Support Services can best support the behavioral health of Baltimore City residents.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in social work, counseling/psychology, human services, public health, public administration, or allied health field.
  • Five years research and/or administrative and/or management experience in behavioral health.
  • Licensure preferred but not required: LGSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC.

  • Develop workplans and processes to execute complex tasks.
