Event Pantry Supervisor
Reporting to the Suites Manager, the Event Pantry Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the timely and accurate fulfillment of event-day requests while ensuring the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to established procedures for opening and closing operations and food preparation. Maintain appropriate food temperatures and ensure accurate delivery of items. Uphold safety standards and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas. Oversee the cleanliness of pantry spaces, including shelves, walls, floors, and drains. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure excellent service and product delivery. Handle kitchen equipment with care to prevent damage or injury. Organize suite orders to guarantee proper and timely delivery. Input all event-day orders into the POS system and reconcile advance suite orders. Work closely with Suite Attendants to secure accurate payments from each suite. Manage inventory control within the Suite Pantry effectively. Foster teamwork with colleagues and other service departments within the venue. Complete tasks assigned by management in a timely manner. Conduct reconciliation at the end of each event. Comply with the company's uniform and grooming standards. Perform additional duties as required.Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent communication skills, capable of building positive relationships at all organizational levels. Adaptable to changing trends and circumstances, with a willingness to learn from experiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Culinary training is preferred. Must obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications. Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end dining or hospitality environment is required. Availability for all major events and functions. Physical capability to perform tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25lbs. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while navigating various surfaces.
