ETL Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Architect to join our team at Saxon Global. As an integral member of our data integration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure efficient data integration and analytics capabilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end ETL solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Leverage cloud platforms, with a particular emphasis on Snowflake, to develop scalable and performant ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and design ETL solutions accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards in all aspects of ETL architecture and implementation.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness on cloud platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ETL processes with other data-related systems and applications.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in ETL and cloud computing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ETL Architect with a focus on cloud technologies in the banking or financial sector.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including designing and optimizing data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ETL principles, data integration patterns, and best practices.
  • Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
