Job Summary:

As a Senior HIM Integrity Specialist at CharterCARE Health Partners, you will play a critical role in leading our HIM integrity operations. This includes ongoing monitoring and resolution of patient identity issues, duplicate medical record numbers, documentation errors, patient overlays, record amendments, and other issues that fall within our EMR change management protocols.

You will prepare and validate committee reports, identify trends, and monitor corrective action to ensure timely follow-up. Additionally, you will monitor the completeness and timeliness of documentation in accordance with TJC and CMS standards as part of our integrity functions.


Requirements:

An Associate Degree in Health Information Technology is preferred or equivalent experience. Three years of HIM integrity experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

You must have the ability to lead and oversee complex integrity issues, conduct root cause analysis, assess risk level, and advise on corrective action. You should also be able to blend integrity responsibilities with technical operations and possess creative problem-solving skills.

A thorough knowledge of medical records systems, Joint Commission, and State and Federal regulations is required. You must be a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
