{"Responsibilities": "As a Sr. Sales Tax Analyst at Connection, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of our team. You will be responsible for resolving sales tax issues, developing relationships with internal teams, and identifying opportunities to improve sales tax compliance. Your expertise in sales tax laws and regulations will be essential in ensuring that our company remains compliant with all applicable tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to internal and external sales tax questions regarding taxability of our product offerings and confirm tax rates for multiple legal entities doing business in all 50 states.
* Set up taxable items, monitor tax rates and various state tax regulations to maintain our sales tax matrix to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
* Assist or lead ongoing external sales and use tax audits, respond to auditor requests, and defend our tax position.
* Research and resolve system issues pertaining to notices received from taxing jurisdictions.
* Monitor Vertex Tax Decision Maker to confirm appropriate tax calculations.
* Advise and mentor sales tax analysts as needed.

What You Will Bring:

* Proficient use of Microsoft 365 tools like Teams, Teams Meeting, and PowerPoint.
* Working knowledge of VERTEX sales tax software or comparable applications.
* Working knowledge of a research tool such as RIA, CCH, or BNA.
* Strong knowledge of state sales tax laws in which the company files.
* Experience mentoring Sales Tax Analysts.
* Ability to efficiently manage competing priorities.
* Superb communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
