Economic Valuation Services Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Economic and Valuation Services practice as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the valuation analysis of real property and personal property, including report preparation, proposals, and executive presentations for financial reporting, tax, regulatory, or business planning purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analyze key qualitative factors and quantitative drivers of companies and industries.
  • Assist team members with senior client management interviews, identify and evaluate critical valuation-related inputs from large quantities of diverse information, and concisely document findings.
  • Conduct site visits at client locations for asset valuation purposes.
  • Support the team with business development activities, as needed.
  • Develop capabilities in key technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery, such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, Power BI, and more.
Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Engineering, Finance, or Economics, or an equivalent program.
  • Upon completion of this internship, candidates must have additional academic credits to complete before obtaining their degree and/or CPA eligibility requirements.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate MS Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Access, Power BI), Alteryx, Tableau, artificial intelligence (AI), and similar data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high-quality work.
  • Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportation.
  • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
