About the Role

HTI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a technical hands-on role. This position will focus on the joining technology in their body shop, working with a well-known automotive manufacturer specializing in Metris and Sprinter vans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor technology performance and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal equipment operation.
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize equipment performance to support manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with technical and production teams to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and quality of the product.
  • Develop best practices to improve equipment capacity, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensure equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF, and OEE by relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols for the operation and maintenance of laser and glue systems.
  • Evaluate current production activities and drive improvements.
  • Investigate complex problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions.
  • Train and support less experienced engineers and team members.
  • Participate in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability.
  • Propose and manage medium-scale projects from beginning to end.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant degree required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (joining/gluing equipment).
  • Kuka KRC 4 robot experience.
  • Sealer technology knowledge and experience (namely Intec Sealer).
  • 3D-CAD experience such as: SolidWorks, Catia, Siemens NX, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and skills.
