Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team at Jobot's client. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a pivotal role in providing superior healthcare services by ensuring efficiency and safety in our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and pass items as needed to the surgical team.
  • Understand and apply the principles of asepsis, establishing and maintaining a sterile field and ensuring the team maintains a sterile environment.
  • Assist in the preparation and moving of patients.
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instrumentation, assisting with clean-up and room turnover.
  • Access computer information as needed, such as preference lists and digital images.
  • Participate in all safety initiatives, adhering to programs such as SCIP and SCOAP quality initiatives.
  • May be required to provide scheduling support during non-standard business hours.
  • May be required to schedule surgical cases.
