Overview:
This role is pivotal in managing the purchasing operations for the district's parts division, service and installation teams, as well as retail sales. The position involves nurturing and assessing supplier partnerships to optimize discounts, ensure timely deliveries, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Communicate demand forecasts and inventory replenishment strategies to suppliers.

2. Monitor open purchase orders, evaluate vendor performance, and expedite orders as necessary.


3. Address any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers promptly to ensure swift resolution.

4. Process customer orders received from various internal teams.

5. Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders effectively.

6. Comply with company policies and procedures regarding purchase orders.

7. Order inventory in accordance with the Sales Inventory Operations Planning process.

8. Review invoices for purchased goods as required by the Accounts Payable department.

9. Develop and maintain stock programs that facilitate rapid delivery times.

10. Conduct part identification and research, adjusting inventory levels based on lead time changes.

11. Collaborate closely with service coordinators, project administrators, service managers, and installation managers to quote materials, parts, and equipment.

12. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or five years of relevant experience and/or training; an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. An Associate's degree is preferred.

- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic work environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours as needed.

- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and/or familiarity with commercial refrigeration and HVAC is advantageous.

- High degree of professionalism and diplomacy.

- Demonstrated decision-making abilities, quick learning, rational thinking, and sound judgment.

- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team setting.

- Proven sales and customer service skills.

- Experience with process management systems and prioritization.

- Capability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
