Nurse Specialist II

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Infusion Center team at SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support in a fast-paced acute setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients, including direct care, education, and transitions of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to ensure an optimal patient experience.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Infusion administering Chemo, ONS/ONCC-Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within 6 months.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in infusion therapy or oncology nursing.
- Knowledge of chemotherapy and immunotherapy principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by NIOSH.

Pay Range is $72.27 to $94.66 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
