Medical Records Clerk

University Physicians Assoc Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Clerk to support our High-Risk OB office. This is a full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filing of patient information into appropriate medical records, including demographics, labs, reports, and hospital records.
  • Preparation of new patient charts and pulling charts for upcoming appointments.
  • Maintenance of accurate and quality records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Completion of medical records requests within 48 hours.
  • Purging of old medical records.
  • Assistance with clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, and file.
