Salary:
$18.00-$20.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package

Summary:

This role involves working Saturday through Wednesday, from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The primary duty of the Overnight Facilities Maintenance Specialist is to collaborate with the Facilities Team to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the residential community managed by COCM.

The Specialist is responsible for cleaning and organizing various areas, including restrooms, offices, furniture, and all common spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain cleanliness of all entrance and exit doors, hallways, public restrooms, offices, lounges, elevators, and laundry rooms.
2. Ensure all carpeted areas are vacuumed and non-carpeted floors are swept or mopped.
3. Clean and sanitize restrooms daily, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
4. Remove trash and recycling from all areas, ensuring proper disposal.
5. Monitor and maintain safety in walkways and common areas, especially during inclement weather.
6. Assist in moving and setting up furniture for meetings and events as needed.
7. Perform snow removal and ice prevention tasks to ensure safe access to the property.
8. Report any damages or maintenance needs to the Assistant Director promptly.
9. Engage with residents and guests in a professional manner, projecting a customer-focused image.

Work Environment:
The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a moderate noise level.

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks. The role involves lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds and may require climbing or balancing.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate stairs.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
