About the Role

STAND, Inc. is seeking a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist to join our team at The DOOR, an initiative of the organization. As a key member of our social services team, you will provide peer support services to individuals in recovery, their families, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and engage individuals in recovery, their families, and other stakeholders in a participatory process of program decision-making and conducting activities.
  • Facilitate presentations at coalition meetings, hospitals, and other local/regional entities within the peer community.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with crisis centers, treatment centers, shelters, criminal justice centers, hospitals, and faith-based institutions.
  • Work with other CARES staff to coordinate and/or develop new programs and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be certified as a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES).
  • Must be able to understand the regulatory guidelines governing the ARSC.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.

Work Schedule
