Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for operating scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
    • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
    • Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
    • Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures with minimal supervision
    • Assess and prepare patients for radio pharmaceuticals administration
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    • Perform daily quality control procedures on equipment
    • Monitor and maintain radiation standards in the department
    • Report contamination to the Radiation Safety Officer
  • Department Support:
    • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
    • Provide training and technical expertise to new associates

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of safety-related work behaviors and quality control procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with variable eight-hour day shifts, including rotating call. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for diagnostic imaging.
