Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Developer to enhance our SCORPIO proprietary database tool. The ideal candidate will work in a cloud-based Azure/SQL Server environment, collaborating with our team to maintain, improve, and streamline all data intakes, storage, stored procedures, and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex views, stored procedures, and functions
  • Develop Report Server reports and accompanying queries/datasets
  • Create database triggers for automation, such as Agent jobs and email notifications
  • Write queries to fulfill user requests, including data extraction and importation
Administrative Skills
  • Create Integration System packages for data automation
  • Write queries for and assist in the integration of third-party applications, such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Create table indexes to improve database performance
  • Review query performance and optimize code
  • Design and create tables to store user requests and application data
  • Keep detailed documentation of all created items
Requirements
  • Secondary programming languages, such as Python, .NET, and VBA, are a plus
