Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of operators in the Liquid Compounding Department, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Process Oversight: Ensure the efficient operation of compounding processes, including batching, mixing, and quality control, adhering to production schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and testing of products.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and best practices in liquid compounding.
  • Safety Management: Uphold safety protocols and ensure that all team members follow safety guidelines and practices. Conduct safety audits and training sessions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with management to implement changes that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production metrics, quality issues, and team performance for management review.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production Planning, to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of liquid compounding processes and quality assurance practices.
