Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a Field Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment to apply herbicides and pesticides to crops, while maintaining accurate records and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops in accordance with company guidelines and regulations
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and other machinery
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing repairs as needed
  • Keep accurate records of applications, including log books and spray records
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain pesticide applicator certification
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Class A or B CDL required
  • At least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The work environment for this position is typically a warehouse and distribution setting, with moderate to loud noise levels and occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemical hazards. The employee will be required to use hands for various tasks, talk, hear, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. Regular lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds may be required.
