Plastic Surgery Assistant

As an Operating Room Circulator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include preparing surgery suites, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with our surgical team to deliver coordinated outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surgery suites by gathering and organizing surgical supplies and equipment.
- Monitor inventory and notify team members when supplies are needed.
- Operate medical equipment and perform technical skills according to set policies and standards of care.
- Restock surgery suites with appropriate supplies after procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop coordinated outcomes and interventions.
- Record patient information accurately and concisely on medical charts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in the operating rooms.
- Follow established HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Attend mandatory training programs and unit meetings.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (depending on state)
- BLS Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior listening skills
- Ability to synthesize patient data and implement an action plan
- Excellent manual dexterity
