Job Summary

NV Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Right of Way Agent to join our team. As a key member of our Land Resources department, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and acquiring property rights for the construction, operation, and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire property rights for construction, operation, and maintenance of company facilities
  • Negotiate cost-effective terms, conditions, and fees for property rights
  • Prepare recommendations for management on complex land use and property rights
  • Mentor and assist other agents in acquisition, negotiation, and land use processes
  • Enforce easement rights against trespass
  • Maintain accurate land records and files to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Requirements
  • SR/WA designation from the IRWA and six years of experience in negotiation, acquisition, and management of real property rights
  • Demonstrated knowledge of right of way principles and practices
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, analytical, interpersonal, and communication
