This top-ranked construction company in Rochester is seeking a skilled Multifamily Construction Project Manager to join its growing team. As a leader in the Rochester market, the company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality multifamily projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project design teams, company personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Lead the preparation of construction documents and administer contracts with owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Manage value engineering efforts and ensure compliance with construction permits.
  • Prepare and process all necessary paperwork and documents in a timely and complete manner.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, communicating changes to project personnel as needed.
  • Review, approve, and process draw requests and payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Work with owners to transition projects from construction to residential operations.
  • Address project completion and warranty issues, and prepare final close-out documentation.
  • Manage budget and financial reporting, and interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (strongly preferred).
  • Experience managing multifamily projects with a minimum value of $5 million.
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
