Project Budgeting Specialist Job Summary:

Joe Bland Construction LLC is seeking a highly skilled Project Budgeting Specialist to join our team. As a Project Budgeting Specialist, you will be responsible for creating accurate budgets for construction projects, working closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of budgets
  • Create detailed budgets by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of budgets
  • Maintain knowledge of current market conditions and trends in the construction industry

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software (Agtek a plus)

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year
