KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders and development teams to identify new functionalities and user requirements for both new and updated applications or significant development initiatives.

  • Address troubleshooting and support inquiries for live applications to ensure continuous operational integrity.
  • Act as a technical leader within an Agile team, actively participating in all Agile ceremonies, including planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and mentor junior technical personnel, utilizing advanced development tools to enhance the development process.
  • Utilize a DevOps toolset to construct, inspect, deploy, test, and promote new or updated features.
  • Establish and configure a continuous integration environment.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum: 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred: 5-7+ years of relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficient programming skills in Java (preferred), C/C++, and/or Python
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis
  • Strong capabilities in applying analysis/design engineering functions
  • Advanced understanding of non-functional software qualities such as resiliency and maintainability
  • Expertise in behavior-driven testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in Performance Engineering practices, including code review, profiling, and optimization
  • Experience in Performance Testing for Web 2.0, AJAX, SOA/WS, and Java/JEE applications
  • Proficient in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Performance Center, JMeter, and Grinder
  • Ability to develop test plans, strategies, case specifications, scripts, scenarios, and reporting documentation
  • Skilled in creating and analyzing monitored data, including APM dashboards, to document testing outcomes and diagnose application performance
  • Expertise in system and application monitoring
  • Advanced skills in unit testing and experience leading automation initiatives
  • Strong scripting capabilities in Perl, Bash, etc.
  • Solid RDBMS/SQL knowledge and familiarity with Solaris or Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and related functionalities is a plus
  • Creative, self-driven, and capable of demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
