Graphic DesignerKBR is in search of a skilled Graphic Designer to offer creative support for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). GED is responsible for delivering essential capabilities that assist the NRO in planning and executing intelligence-gathering operations from overhead systems, transforming the collected data into actionable insights for various users.
As a Graphic Designer, your role will involve providing visual and web design support to the GED directorate. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis specialists, to develop systems that fulfill our client's operational needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Technical, Communications, or IT, along with over 10 years of professional experience
- Proven experience with Intelligence Community and/or Department of Defense programs
- Experience in National Reconnaissance Office initiatives
- Ability to engage with senior executives and contribute to high-level meetings
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in coordinating project timelines
- Skilled in translating complex ideas into visually appealing graphics
- Familiarity with tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, and 3D modeling software like Maya/3Ds Max
- Capable of collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve mission objectives
- Design visual presentations by creating layouts for art and copy
- Analyze and generate original visual solutions for communication projects
- Identify effective methods to convey messages through various media, including print and digital formats
- Develop comprehensive layouts and production designs for publications
- Utilize various illustration techniques to prepare technical and non-technical graphics for presentations and reports
- Create promotional materials, including displays, packaging, and marketing brochures
- Design and fabricate wall art, frames, and other artistic elements
- Develop awards and certificates for various achievements
- Generate content for web pages and multimedia projects
- Gather information through discussions with stakeholders and independent research
- Prepare sketches or layouts manually or digitally to visualize concepts
- Collaborate closely with Systems Integrators and Communication Officers
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce compelling graphic products that communicate strategic information effectively
- Provide a comprehensive system perspective, understanding GED products, partnerships, dependencies, and capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the NRO System Engineering process
- Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT systems
- Understanding of GED systems
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with CI polygraph required
