Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that maintenance projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance budget and track expenditures
  • Compile reports and statistics related to key performance measures for the maintenance department
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance projects, including scheduling personnel and maintaining project budgets
  • Work with the maintenance manager and local leadership team to schedule predictive/preventative maintenance activities
  • Lead environmental health and safety initiatives, including air permitting, storm water compliance, and HAZMAT
  • Manage the inventory and parts management of the facility's storeroom
  • Develop and implement kitting processes for use throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Assist the maintenance manager as needed in the development and management of capital projects
Requirements
  • Solid computer/system skill set is required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Prior experience utilizing SAP/KIWI is highly preferred
  • Prior supervisory/leadership experience and/or demonstrated situational leadership skills is required
  • Prior mechanical, electrical and/or maintenance troubleshooting experience is required
  • Corrugated experience is highly preferred
  • Prior experience with predictive/preventative maintenance programs, inventory and capital project planning is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively is required
