Job Opportunity:
Registered Nurse Supervisor
Compensation: $52-$54 per hour based on shift
Available Shifts:
Full-Time 3-11
Part-Time 3-11
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and implement nursing services for residents while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Supervise daily nursing operations to guarantee consistent, high-quality care for residents.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director to enhance nursing service operations and emergency support for shifts.
- Coordinate nursing activities in accordance with medical requirements, physician directives, and comprehensive care plans.
- Manage and guide charge nurses to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
- Modify care plans in partnership with medical staff to address urgent medical needs.
In the absence of superiors, the RN Supervisor assumes full responsibility for operational decisions based on the circumstances.
Ensure adequate staffing levels before leaving the facility and inform residents' personal physicians of any significant changes in their condition or immediate medical needs.
Qualifications:
- Current state RN license and good standing as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail, effective follow-through skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- The RN Supervisor should demonstrate teamwork and cooperation in assisting others.
- Experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care is essential.
Additional Expectations:
All RN Supervisor positions require weekend on-call availability to support both staff and residents. Compensation details are available upon inquiry. Per diem staff are expected to fulfill two weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
