Position Overview:

The Senior Clinical Specialist for AF Solutions will be responsible for promoting and supporting the Watchman product line through comprehensive education for both current and prospective clients within a designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver educational sessions and demonstrations on the benefits and proper clinical application of our products, utilizing various presentation formats to keep clients informed about the latest advancements in the industry.
  • Engage with existing and potential clients, including healthcare professionals and hospital groups, to assess their clinical needs and demonstrate how our products can assist in achieving their objectives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with hospital staff, physicians, and administrators to identify key decision-makers and facilitate future sales opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by developing innovative solutions in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Guide and mentor junior specialists and support staff, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages all team members to reach their full potential.
  • Lead change initiatives and build strategic partnerships across the organization to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and development, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members through their professional growth.
  • Implement and oversee strategies outlined in the quarterly action plan to support market development and product launches.
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Participate in on-call duties as necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Clinical Trial Responsibilities (If Applicable):
  • Maintain expertise in clinical trial protocols and compliance with regulatory standards to meet departmental objectives.
  • Manage clinical trial activities within the assigned territory, including conducting interest and site initiation visits.
  • Educate clinical investigators on trial protocols and investigational products.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to communicate complex product information effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Structural Heart/Atrial Fibrillation is preferred.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
