Key Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Overseeing the upkeep, monitoring, and executing preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of all facility systems, including fire/life safety, mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, plumbing, controls), electrical systems (emergency lighting, UPS, generators), and hot water systems. You will monitor performance, make adjustments, and maintain essential equipment.
  • Analyzing system operations to identify issues and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Adhering to safety protocols for the storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
  • Gaining comprehensive knowledge of the facility to effectively manage incidents that may jeopardize critical systems.
  • Managing work orders, including CMMS, vendor coordination, and customer service requests.
  • Understanding and following emergency escalation protocols.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Corrigo, MCIM, Salesforce, Zendesk, or Service Now.
  • EPA 608 certification.
  • Training in NFPA70E.
Physical Demands:

This position requires:
  • Mobility in large campus-like settings.
  • Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working at heights.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Climbing stairs and accessing rooftops for equipment maintenance.
  • Using ladders up to 30 ft.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including holidays, and respond to emergencies.
